Specialize in the natural nail
I have been here twice and both experiences I've had to get them fixed. First time I went was in February, I got gels on my natural nails and they looked wavy like they never dried. Today I came in because I heard they got some new people. My gels weren't polished on the sides of my nails and my toe nail polish has bumps in it like the polish brush was dirty. I did get my gels "fixed" he buffed them and repolished but now there are little bumps from the dust and my one nail is wavy from the polish being to thick and they way it dried. There is another nail that is gelled onto my skin so that will be lifting soon. I leave tomorrow for vacation and no time to get them fixed again. I would never come back.
Wonderful atmosphere, the staff are very professional and very skilled. I love this place. Finally a nail salon where I can relax and feel comfortable.
i've gone to them before then took a break from getting anything done to my nails- then went to Sunset w/a friend for acrylic and after 2nd time of them attempting to rip me off for bogus upcharges (both times I said something and both times I was justified and right and didn't have to pay but if i didn't question it, I would have been robbed $5 each time) I decided to go over to AirNails again to see if they did acrylic yet, They dont, but thats ok- The SNS powder (I think thats what its called ) is AMAZING and i went back to that. Jimmy at first did my blueberry pedicure and then before I had a chance to sit down for nails, the kids were calling, one was stuck hanging off a trampoline , a dog was missing, another on the roof.. you get the idea.. I had to leave and not get nails done- Ran home, got things situated and then went back, I lost my place in line but that's ok- Alice did my nails and holy moly- just the extra time they spend and extra everything that they do for you is worth any wait. I have asked at other places for my cuticles to be cut or pushed back before fills and they just don't do it, or they'll charge you $5 extra to do it. Alice did everything and more not to mention the back massage you get with every nail experience and hand massages at end. So here's the good part, I go to pay and if you spend $50 you get 10% off, yes of course my pedicure was about $68 earlier, came down to about $61, when I went to pay I was only at $42 but Alice said you were just in and already paid for the pedicure so you get the 10% nails too- HOW AWESOME is that? They easily could have screwed me out of the extra 10% discount not to mention we were there till 50 minutes after closing time, but they didn't. They are so honest and nice and go over and beyond any other place I have ever been to- I cannot recommend them enough- now to go let that kid down off from the trampoline... :-P
Within two days of having my nails done they started popping off like press ons. After seven days - eight of ten nails popped off. Went back to have them fixed. They charged me for a full fill, no apology. Although the nails stayed on, they were crooked and thick. I will never, ever go back. They charge much more than everyone else for horrible quality.
